Shipborne Slip Rings
Product Introduction
Slip rings used in shipborne environments are mainly used in shipborne radar antennas, artillery systems, photoelectric masts, photoelectric theodolites, submarine inertial navigation, deep-sea submersibles and hydrophones for cable winding and unwinding, underwater robots, deck lifting, shore power supply systems, etc. These slip rings need special protective design for marine applications. For example, to resist salt spray erosion, 316 stainless steel is used for the shell, and sufficient dynamic sealing is designed to prevent water vapor from entering the product. The slip rings used in submarine inertial navigation have high requirements for ring spacing and service life, while deep-sea submersibles and hydrophones need to be equipped with fiber optic rotary joints with more than 22 channels.
Typical Applications
A certain model of submarine inertial navigation slip ring produced by our company, X20 model contains 21 ring channels, with a ring spacing of 0.3mm, a product diameter of 12.7mm, and a total length of 26.3mm. X40 model contains 42 ring channels, with a ring spacing of 0.3mm, a product diameter of 12.7mm, and a total length of 38.9mm. X60 model contains 63 ring channels, with a ring spacing of 0.3mm, a product diameter of 12.7mm, and a total length of 51.5mm.
