Product Introduction
Slip rings used in elastic environments are used in inertial navigation platforms, position indicators, and other systems. These environments usually require slip ring products to be lightweight and compact, with a very tight product design and especially small ring spacing. Although slip rings used in elastic environments do not have high requirements for rotational life, the friction between the ring tracks and the brush filaments can cause debris to adhere to the insulation spacers, reducing the insulation resistance between the rings, and in severe cases, even causing short circuits. It is particularly important to note that slip rings used in elastic environments typically have very high requirements for mechanical shock resistance.
This type of miniature slip ring has significant differences in design and production processes compared to conventional conductive slip rings. At present, the shaft body is usually produced by vacuum casting, and processes such as welding and assembly present significant challenges.
Typical Applications
A certain model of elastic inertial slip ring (44 rings) produced by our company includes 44 ring tracks, with a ring spacing of 0.2mm, a product diameter of 16mm, and a total length of 28.5mm.
